Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves.
I think this is a pretty straight forward verse, but in reality it is hard to accomplish. So often God asks us to put the needs of others before our own, yet how often do we do this? I know that unless it is my family, I really don't take into the account of others, and even then sometimes I am still selfish. I can't count the number of times I gossip about others or turn a blind eye to something.
I want desperately to be able to read something from the Bible and think, "yeah I got that down". But I know I am not close to that. Hopefully, reflecting on verses can help start me into the right direction.
